  • What is Edgewise?

    Edgewise is a prediction market analytics and social platform. Connect Kalshi or Polymarket (and optional PredictIt data), sync your fills, see performance and insights on a private desk, follow other traders, and share a public profile when you want. Edgewise does not place trades for you—it helps you understand your record in one place.

  • What is Kalshi / Polymarket?

    Kalshi and Polymarket are regulated or decentralized prediction market venues where users trade event contracts. Edgewise reads trade history you authorize through their APIs (or CSV for PredictIt) so we can show stats and activity on Edgewise. You still trade on the venue itself; Edgewise is a companion app.

  • How do I connect my account?

    Sign in, open Settings, and use the Kalshi or Polymarket connection flows. You'll add API keys or complete the verification steps shown there, then run a sync. Free accounts can use one trading source at a time; Premium unlocks using multiple sources together plus analytics, leagues, trade alerts, export, and priority sync.

  • What is Premium and what does it cost?

    Edgewise Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks the full Premium desk—multi-platform connections, advanced analytics, private leagues, trade alerts, data export, priority sync, and other Premium-only features described in the app. Pricing is currently $4.99/month (plus tax where applicable), billed through Stripe; exact totals appear at checkout.

  • What is Pro and how do I qualify?

    Edgewise Pro lets qualified creators offer subscriber-only desk access and earn from monthly subscriptions. Qualification is based on your synced Edgewise history—typically a minimum of 25 settled trades and a positive average realized profit per contract on settled picks, as evaluated in Settings when you apply. Approval is subject to review; see the Pro section in Settings for your current status.

  • How does the 15% revenue share work?

    When subscribers pay a Pro creator through Edgewise, payment processing runs via Stripe (including Connect for payouts). Edgewise retains a 15% platform fee on that subscription revenue; the remainder goes to the creator according to payout rules, less refunds, chargebacks, and Stripe fees as applicable.   • Is my trading data secure?

    We use industry-standard practices: encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable infrastructure (including Supabase for auth and data). API keys and secrets you provide are stored securely for syncing only as described in our Privacy Policy. No storage method is perfect—use a strong password and revoke keys on the venue if you stop using Edgewise.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    To cancel Edgewise Premium — open Settings, find the Edgewise Premium card, and click Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel, update your card, or download invoices.

    To cancel a Pro creator subscription — open Settings, scroll to the My subscriptions section, find the creator subscription, and click Cancel subscription.

    Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Email support@tryedgewise.com if you need help locating the right option.

  • How do I become a Pro forecaster?

    Pro forecasters are Edgewise creators who offer subscriber-only desk access and earn from monthly subscriptions. To apply, you need an active Edgewise Premium subscription, at least 25 API-verified settled trades from Kalshi or Polymarket (synced in Edgewise with finalized markets), and a positive average profit per contract on those settled picks. When you meet those requirements, open Settings and submit your application in the Pro section — qualification is evaluated automatically and may be subject to review.
